Luke Perry is best-known for his role as Dylan McKay in the TV series Beverly Hills, 90210 from 1990 to 1995 and 1998 to 2000.
Coy Luther Perry III was born on October 11, 1966 in Mansfield, Ohio. He became the school mascot at Fredericktown High School. He moved to Los Angeles after high school with the aim of landing an acting career. His first job was as a paver and lived in different cities for his job.
Perry auditioned to more than 200 acting-related jobs in New York before appearing in a TV commercial. He then appeared on the soap operas Loving and Another World in the late 1980s. He also starred in different series, movies, and specials including Jeremiah, The Heist, and 8 Seconds. He also worked as a voice-over artist, primarily in cartoons.
Luke Perry Beverly Hills 90210
Perry’s breakthrough came when he got the role of Dylan McKay, the son of business tycoon Jack McKay, im Beverly Hills, 90210. He originally eyed for the role of Steve Sanders. The series ran for 10 seasons from October 4, 1990 to May 17, 2000. He became a popular teen idol because of this role. However, he left the series in 1995 in an attempt to find more mature roles. He returned to the show in 1998 until 2000.

Luke Perry Riverdale
Perry became part of the Americann teen drama television series Riverdale from 2017 to 2019. He played the role of Fred Andrews, father of Archie (KJ Appa) who owns Andrews Construction. The series is based on the characters of Archie Comics and was originally planned as a feature movie adaptation for Warner Bros. Pictures.
In 2004, he became part of the London production of When Harry Met Sally. He played the role of Harry while Alyson Hannigan as Sally. The play focuses on the question if men and women can never be just friends and other ideas about relationships.
Perry appeared in different TV series during his lifetime including Spin City (1997) and Will & Grace (2005).
His final feature performance was in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in 2019. He starred as Canadian actor Wayne Maunder.
Perry married Rachel "Minnie" Sharp, a one-time furniture saleswoman and his fan, in 1993. She caught his attention when she sent him a lace bra in 1991. The pair dated for two years before exchanging their I Dos. They have two kids namely Jack born in 1997 followed by Sophie in 2000. The couple divorced in 2003.
Perry was currently engaged to Wendy Madison Bauer, a marriage and family therapist, when he died. He kept their relationship private until April 2017.
Luke Perry Death
Perry reportedly suffered a massive stroke on February 28, 2019. Tragically he did not recover and was pronounced dead on March 4, 2019. To honor him and his character, Riverdale dedicated its fourth season premiere as a tribute episode.
