Early Life

Ryan Seacrest was born on December 24, 1974 in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the son of Constance Marie, and Gary Lee Seacrest. He attended Dunwoody High School, and at the age of 16 and still in high school, he earned an internship at 94.1 WSTR in Atlanta. Seacrest was trained by Tom Sullivan with the several features of radio. Seacrest was given the opportunity to go on air for the first time when a DJ called in sick, and was given the weekend overnight shift at WSTR.

He graduated high school in 1992 and studied journalism at University of Georgia. Seacrest stop attending college and moved to Hollywood at the age of 19, to pursue a career in broadcasting.

Seacrest hosted several television shows in 1993 to 1997. He hosted the first season of the television show "ESPN's Radical Outdoor Challenge", the kids' game shows, "Gladiators 2000", "Wild Animal Games", and "Click". At this time he also appeared as the host for the fictional game show "Lover's Lane" on Beverly Hills, 90210 on the episode "The Final Proof". In 2002, Seacrest hosted the popular competition reality show on Fox called "American Idol", made him a star and stayed on the show until 2016.

Producer

Since 2005, Seacrest has been the producer and co-host of the new year's eve television called Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. He also launched his own production called Ryan Seacrest Productions (RSP) and named Adam Sher as CEO. He produces the highest-rated show on E! network Keeping Up with the Kardashians along with the spin-offs Khloe and Lamar, Kourtney and Kim Take New York and Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami. He also produced the reality series Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution and two new reality series in 2012 including Melissa and Tye.

Personal Life

In 2009, Ryan Seacrest had an on and off relationship for two years with model Sara Jean Underwood. In 2010, he dated a singer, professional dancer and actress Julianne Hough and reportedly ended their relationship on March 2013. After his breakup with Julianne Hough, he was in an on and off relationship again with model Shayna Taylor and moved in together on May 2017. On November 2017, he was under investigations due to allegations of sexual harassment by a former E! stylist. On February 2018, the investigations has been closed due to insufficient evidence.
