Marco Silva was appointed as the Head Coach of Leeds United in June 2021. In his first season in charge, Marco guided Leeds to a 17th place finish in the Premier League, narrowly avoiding relegation. He will be looking to build on this first season in charge of Leeds and guide the club to a more comfortable position in the table for the 2022/23 season.

Leeds United have lost two of their star players in Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha. While both departures will be difficult to replace, the club is confident in their ability to find the right players to fill the void. Phillips was an integral part of Leeds' midfield, providing both defensive stability and creative flair. Raphinha, meanwhile, was a key player in the club's attack, scoring goals and assisting many more.

While their loss will be felt on the pitch, Leeds have shown they have the ability to rebound from difficult situations. The club will continue to invest in new players and staff in order to build on their strong start to life in the Premier League. With the right additions, Leeds United can once again become a force to be reckoned with.

The club have made some good signings (totalling around £90m) in the transfer market and the manager will be hoping they can quickly adapt to his style of play. Now that the players have arrived, there is no reason why Leeds cannot have a successful second season under Marco Silva.
